My relationship with art began at the early age 10 when I was invited to participate in an art program for youth at the Toledo Museum of Art in Toledo, Ohio. The classes in this inspiring setting offered an exploration in many different mediums over the years. These early experiences launched a lifelong passion for the creative process.
After years of studying painting at Ohio University it has been my good fortune to study with various painters in the Berkshires who have taught me a great deal about composition, light, shadow, and the poetry that can live in a painting.
Drawn to the beauty and mystery of light and shadow, my focus at present is
still-life in oils as well as landscapes that captures my eye.
